What should I wear for my boudoir session? This is a legitimate question for boudoir photography. The answer is wear whatever you feel comfortable in. If you want to wear sexy lingerie, go for it. If you are a girl next door type and don’t want to show to much skin, wear your favorite t-shirt with some cheeky bottoms. Or a cropped textured sweater with a garter belt and thigh high fish nets. You can even wear a show stopping bra or a bodysuit paired with a long flowing skirt. See how simple it is, now you know that lingerie is not a must for a boudoir session.

You Get to Decide!

Whatever you do decide to wear, just do not bring outfits that you do not love. Why? Because you will not like any of the photographs of yourself in it. If you don’t love it, leave it at home! 

What looks great on camera? structured pieces, solids, textured and form fitting items to show off your fabulous figure. One of my favorite places to shop online for lingerie is Love Vera. They sell out of some items fast so when you see it, buy it! Also, their sizing goes up to a 4X. My clients love the lingerie that they purchase from Fenty Savage.

Having three different bra and panty sets will not allow for a lot of variety in your photos. Try to incorporate different pieces into your wardrobe selections so you will have a lot of variety in your photos. Nude counts as a wardrobe selection, and so does a white sheet.
